Buttock Augmentation

Buttock Augmentation Surgery Chicago

All buttock and Brazilian butt augmentation procedures are done as an outpatient under general anesthesia and take between 2 to 3 hours.

If you and Dr. Makhlouf have selected fat transfer for Brazilian lifts as the right approach, he will carefully harvest fat, usually from the thighs or abdomen.  After processing the fat, he injects it into the buttocks in small amounts so the surrounding tissue can nourish the new fat.  He will “over graft” to ensure enough fat ultimately survives.

When implant surgery is the strategy, Dr. Makhlouf’s special instruments enable him to see the target area and maneuver effectively even though incisions are small and buttocks are curved.  The tools feature high-powered lighting and “smoke suctioning” capability to allow him to place implants up to 500 ccs in size.  Results are pleasing in projection and symmetry.

After Surgery

Whether you choose fat transfer for a Brazilian or implants, for the first few days after the procedure you can expect moderate soreness.  Prescription pain medication will be at hand to help you as needed.  We will also ensure you have compression garments to support you as your body heals, special pillows and other recovery aids.

Most patients also notice moderate swelling and bruising after surgery.  These will resolve on their own over time; you can help by following Dr. Makhlouf’s instructions for taking time off and avoiding strenuous activities.

It can take several weeks for your final results to be evident, so be patient.  As long as you care for your figure through good nutrition and exercise, you can look forward to lasting results.  Send in our contact form or give us a call at 847-297-8001 to get started.
